Select Cable type

When selecting a MCI Cable Gland one must always check the following:

CHECK: Cable type, size, dimensions and voltage.
CHECK: Environmental conditions, dust, moisture, corrosive attack.
CHECK: Hazardous areas classification and that the relevant specification is adhered to.
CHECK: Thread type and size of gland entry.
CHECK: The material of the enclosure (avoid Bi-metallic corrosion).

The most common fault experienced on hazardous area installations is incorrect selection and bad installation of Cable Glands.
